Digital technology had been shown to be a powerful tool to promote physical activity and improving the fitness of individuals. Yet , they have also been linked to larger levels of non-active behaviour. Therefore , it is crucial to understand how individuals understand these tools and how they may be used.

Through this study, qualitative interviews were conducted with 20 individuals who have been using technology-based interventions for training. Participants were both equally male and female and had mixed experience with digital fitness programs. The outcomes of the selection interviews revealed that persons view technology-based programs as being helpful and convenient for obtaining their personal fitness goals. This is particularly authentic of the usage of applications that facilitate competitive activities, including step difficulties or group workouts.
